1. Information We Collect

2. Third-Party Authentication & Social Login

MediWatchers allows you to create an account or sign in using third-party authentication services, including Facebook, Google, GitHub, Apple, and LinkedIn ("Social Login Providers"). When you choose to sign in through a Social Login Provider, we may collect the following information from your social account:

• Name: Your display name or full name as provided by the Social Login Provider, used to personalize your MediWatchers account and dashboard.
• Email address: Used to identify your account, match your social login to an existing MediWatchers account, or create a new account on your behalf.
• Profile picture URL: May be received from the provider but is not stored or displayed by MediWatchers.
• Unique identifier: A provider-specific user ID used solely to link your social account to your MediWatchers account.

We only request the minimum permissions necessary for authentication. We do not post to your social media accounts, access your friends list, or collect any information beyond what is listed above. You can revoke MediWatchers' access to your social account at any time through your Social Login Provider's settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, including medication tracking, reminder notifications, and healthcare management features. We may also use your information to communicate with you about your account and our services.

Information received from Social Login Providers is used exclusively for:

• Authenticating your identity and providing secure access to your account
• Personalizing your experience (e.g., displaying your name on your dashboard)
• Matching your social login to an existing MediWatchers account by email address
• Creating a new MediWatchers account if you do not already have one

We do not use information from Social Login Providers for advertising, marketing, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to your MediWatchers account.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described in this policy. We may share information with healthcare providers you authorize, service providers who assist us in operating our platform, and as required by law.

We do not share any data received from Social Login Providers with third parties. Your social login data is stored securely within MediWatchers and is only visible to you.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal information, including data received from Social Login Providers, for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@mediwatchers.com. Upon account deletion:

• All personal data, including social login credentials and linked provider information, will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
• You may also revoke MediWatchers' access through your Social Login Provider's settings at any time, independent of account deletion.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes AES-256-GCM encryption for sensitive healthcare data, secure session management, and HIPAA-compliant data isolation practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

MediWatchers is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Family plan features that allow tracking of dependents are managed entirely by the account holder (parent or guardian).

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. You may also request that we limit or stop processing your data. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information provided below.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of MediWatchers after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
